My brother Joe helped me finish the original table top while visiting me in Chico when he was around 13 years old (circa 1977). I had no room to put the table in my condo as it was very large. My brother Michael was visiting last spring and suggested cutting in in half and using it for a shelf - so I did. It came out very unique and lovely.Friday, August 8, 2008

beautiful...i'm glad it didn't get thrown away. i love it.
That brings back lots of memories. Swimming holes, seeing my first live naked lady (well first 40 of them), dropping Norma's father off in an empty lot and telling him we were home, crawling around under the house, the peugeot, the esplanade, Star Wars, Oroville dam, almond orchards... Great summer!
think your sojourns have gotten considerably shorter in distance ;)
